ROS 9

Saturday, May 9th: 10:00 a.m


Weigh-In + Check-In Times

• Friday, May 8th: 11:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.

• Saturday, May 9th: 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.


Rules Meeting

• Saturday, May 9th: 9:30 a.m.

Lifting Start Time

• Saturday, May 9th: 10:00 a.m



Event 1 — Max Keg Press

60 seconds to complete up to three (3) attempts in a rising bar format. Jump in when ready.

-A lift command will be given to begin the attempt

-Weight must be secured overhead with elbows, hips, and knees fully locked out

-A down command will be given

-The keg must be guided down under control

-Allowed: Grip Shirts, 1 sleeve per joint, one soft belt one hard belt, wrist wraps.


Event 2 — Car Deadlift (Reps)

60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible.

-Up and down commands will be given

-Once hips and knees are fully locked out, a down command will be given

-Allowed- Straps (not figure 8), one soft belts, one hard belt

-Not Allowed: Tacky, figure 8 straps, deadlift hooks, suits, briefs


EVENT WEIGHTS ARE CURRENTLY BEING TESTED


Event 3 — Yoke / Farmer’s Medley

60 seconds to complete the medley.

Carry the yoke 50 feet

After crossing the line, a down command will be given

Pick up the farmer’s handles and carry them 50 feet back

Scoring

Fastest time wins (no split times)

1 rep for completing the yoke

2 reps for completing the full medley (yoke + farmer’s walk)

Allowed: Grip Shirts, 1 sleeve per joint, one soft belt one hard belt, wrist wraps.


Event 4 — Bag Toss

Three bags, 60 seconds to toss all three bags over a designated height.

Fastest time wins

Weather Contingency

If weather prevents outdoor bag toss, the event will be moved indoors and replaced with:

Indoor Alternate Event — Last Man Standing Rolling Thunder


Event 5 — Keg Load

60 seconds to load as many kegs as possible over the yoke.

Hands may not touch the yoke outside of an incidental touch, meaning no grabbing the yoke and chest bumping the keg over. 

Keg must be loaded over in a controlled fashion, if it appears an athlete is throwing the keg in an unsafe manner then a warning will be given. If it happens again then the athlete will receive a zero for the event.
