1. Max Axle overhead Press
2. Max Axle Deadlift
3. Max Bench Press (or reps)
4. Max Atlas Stone Load
A winner will be announced after each event. You can do 1 event or all 4 of them. Your choice. The Entry fee does not change.
Rules: For every event, athletes can attempt a rep with up to 3 weights. Weights will rise in predetermined increments and you jump in when you want to (you don't have to take every weight). If you miss a weight in :60, you cannot make another attempt for that event. You can try as many times as you want in :60 to complete the rep.
1. Max Axle Overhead Press - Rising BAR
--Women - Bar Starts at 80lbs with 10lb jumps--
--Men – Bar Starts at 150lbs with 20lb jumps.--
Bar must be cleaned from the floor and pressed be overhead. Elbows, knees, hips must be completely locked out to receive the down command. BAR MUST BE GUIDED DOWN TO GET THE REP. If the bar is dropped from the top the rep will not count. Grip Shirts, Chalk, Belts, wrist wraps, elbow sleeves are fine.
2. Max Axle Deadlift– Rising BAR
--Women - Bar Starts at 150lbs with 20lb jumps--
--Men – Bar Starts at 250lbs with 50lb jumps--
Bar must be picked up from the floor. Athlete must stand in an upright position. Knees, hips must be completely locked out to receive the down command. BAR MUST BE GUIDED DOWN TO GET THE REP. If the bar is dropped from the top the rep will not count. CONVENTIONAL STANCE ONLY. Ramping and hitching are allowed. Chalk, Belts, wrist straps, Knee sleeves are Allowed.
3. Max Bench Press (or reps) _Decide to Max out or perform reps
MAXING OUT – Pick your attempts. Hand off is allowed. Athlete will receive Start and Rack Command. Bar needs to touch the chest, arms need to be fully locked out and butt needs to stay on the bench in order for the rep to count. Chalk, sleeves, elbow wraps and grip shirts are allowed
REPPING OUT _Men body weight _ Women 75% bodyweight. Athlete must weigh in before attempt (scale will be set up) Hand off is allowed. Athlete will receive a Start command on every rep. Arms need to be fully locked out to get the next start command. Bar needs to touch the chest and butt needs to stay on the bench in order for the rep to count. Judge will give no rep command if athlete locks out without meeting criteria. Chalk, sleeves, elbow wraps and grip shirts are allowed
4. Max Atlas Stone Load_ Rising STONE
--Women – Load to 44” – starting stone 100lb--
--Men – Load to 50” – Starting Stone 155lbs--
Stone must be picked up from the floor and placed on the designated Platform. Spray Tacky, regular tacky, sleeves, tacky shirts are allowed. CLEAN UP STATION AND ASSISTANCE WILL BE AVILABLE.
